Cancer Connection

The Opportunity
Cancer Connection, a nonprofit providing free programs and services for people living with cancer, sought to refresh their brand to increase awareness and connect with a broader demographic across all ages and backgrounds. 
The Approach
We wanted to honor the organization's history and founders' impact by revitalizing their original mark, which depicts three sources of light: a moon, sun, and rainbow. To convey warmth and hope, we developed a color palette featuring cheerful, soft tones and transformed the crescent moon's arc into a framing device that visually embraces images, creating a sense of support and care. We then built out a full visual identity and brand system, including new branding for its thrift shop.
